I decided to start an anti-racism campaign when I realised just how racist the world is getting. In a time such as now, with the war in Iraq I felt it is more important than ever that we unite and stay strong. Not one person can change the way things are but we can all do our bit to help. Racism can’t be talked down, it has to be lived down and each and every single person that reads this can do their bit by living in harmony |
Almost everyone who knows me knows about my passion for Disney™ movies. Especially my passion for The Little Mermaid. Whilst waching The Little Mermaid’s series I came across one entitled “In Harmony” The basic story line is about the citizens of Atlanta being turned against each other by an “Evil manta”. Arieltells them that no matter how different they are, that’s what makes them special and they have to learn to live together. The message was put across in the usual Disney style of a song. And what a song. The music is catchy the tune is upbeat and the words are out of this world. If Disney can turn this message of living together into a catchy, happy song, why can’t normal people incorporate it into their everyday lives and help stamp out racism.
